Beach Time

 

We made it to the beach.  Uncle John loaded up all the surfboards, boogie boards, paddle boards, chairs and snacks.  It's no small feat to have a little bit of time at the beach. 

 

We were thankful for their efforts.  Brad, Brody & Colt loved trying to surf.  They caught a few waves but still need some practice. 

 

Swimming again

 

Our 2nd day of relaxing included more swimming including a game of keep away.   

 

Sleeping, Happy Birthday & Donuts

Singing happy birthday to Jenny & Brad.   Jenny's birthday was on the day we arrived and Brad's was on the day we were at Animal Kingdom.

Grandma Shari bought these mini donut makers so Elijah, Darby, Ollie & Sayler tested them out.  The reviews were ok.  The chocolate donuts were much better than the strawberry ones. 

 

 

 

Relaxing

After our 3 days of parks we drove back to John & Jenny's.  We didn't get back until almost 1 in the morning but we knew we could sleep in as long as we wanted to.  Well, until Elijah's football game.  

We spent two days at John & Jenny's and we did a bit of relaxing but also some playing. 

The kids piled in the truck to drive down the block to the park. 

It's the 2nd year in a row that we have been part of the first swim of the year.  It's something about Pacific Northwest kids and their tolerance for cold pools.

We went to Elijah's football game and then a few hours later went to watch Gunner play soccer. 

 

Fireworks and Rides

Jessi bought us a photo pass for all the pictures.  It was nice to get these from the rides we went on and also from the ones in front of the castle etc. 

We also stayed for the fireworks show.  It's quite a production but very fun to watch.

 

Magic Kingdom

 Our 3rd day in Disneyworld was spent in Magic Kingdom. This is the park that is the quintessential Disney but we never even saw Mickey Mouse.    We arrived around noon and stayed until well past closing, maybe almost 11. 

We went on the Peter Pan ride, Pirates of the Caribbean, Splash Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain, Space Mountain and a few more.  It was a busy but very fun day.  We even had a chance to get Dole Whips. 

Jenny used her Disney app to help us get Lightning Lanes and was having trouble with it.  So she went to Guest Experience and they were able to help us out.
