Birthday Party Games

I finally planned Brody's birthday party. It was awesome! It was probably the easiest birthday party I have ever planned and I hope we get to do more like this. The weather was nice and all they did was play games the whole time. I had to convince them to stop for apple pie and brownies and singing happy birthday. Then I also had to quickly feed them pizza before their parents picked them up. But the best news of all is Brody had an awesome time! 

They played ball tag, capture the flag, kickball and xball.  

This is the way birthday parties should be. 

 

Indoor Soccer

We weren't sure what to do for Brody's spring sport. He enjoys playing soccer but last year's spring soccer wasn't the greatest experience. His team wasn't that great but he also didn't really know anyone on the team. This year we decided to try indoor soccer. The downside is that the games are on Sunday. But there are a lot of positive things so far. He is loving it! We love watching him play and his team is doing well. He doesn't know anyone on the team but they are all very nice boys. 

We sure do love watching him play. 

The video isn't very exciting and I had a better one.   I'm sure we will get more video soon.

15 first dates

We went on our 15th first date on April 19. This is our favorite tradition. We had to leave Colt's baseball game a little early and it still felt like we were a little rushed. One day we will have all the time in the world, but for now we are thankful for our busy lives and the family we have. 

Oh and we LOVE, LOVE Duke's Chowderhouse.  They always treat us so well.   

 

Baseball practice

Bo has been loving his batting practice. I think its mostly because it is just me and him. As always, it will be fun to watch him grow and how his interest in sports progresses. He definitely has some good examples to follow. 

Park fun

We met up at Central Park with Aspen and Brighton.  It is always fun hanging out with them. 

Crazy Hair Day

To add to the craziness of our morning, the kids had crazy hair day. We didn't too bad for some last minute planning.  I think there should be more crazy hair days for everyone.
