Brad's birthday celebration

Brad celebrated his birthday with some of his friends. There were a lot of candles in his cake. 

Happy 7th Birthday!

Last Saturday Ollie turned 7. We started our day with donuts. Then we had Colt's basketball game to go to. We came home for a macaroni and cheese lunch. 

The kids watched a movie and then we went to Ollie's basketball game where we shared cupcakes for his celebration.  

After basketball we came home and had grilled cheese and tomato soup. 

Then they watched another movie.  

The final events were cake and ice cream and presents. 

It was a great day celebrating Ollie! 

 

Birthday Lunch

Ollie had his 7th birthday last weekend. I was able to make arrangements to celebrate in his classroom by reading a book. Ollie picked Ollie the Purple Elephant. After reading the book I joined Ollie for lunch. I had picked up a Taco Time meal for him and he was so excited. 

And just because I need something to help with my emotions. Or maybe this just makes me cry more.   Ollie on his very first day.  

We just love this kid!

Hunting Hawks

Ollie is playing basketball this season on the Hunting Hawks.

San Diego - Day 3

Our last full day in San Diego started with a morning run. I actually went for a long run and Brad was able to meet me at the end.  He had his vendor showcase so I joined him for half of that.  After that was over we went downtown to start our tour of the USS Midway.  (aircraft carrier)

We LOVED it!  

The only bummer was that we were on a 3 hour time schedule (parking) so we had to cut it a bit short.  

Brad spelled his name using Morse Code.  

We went back to the beach and enjoyed some yummy Happy Hour sushi at a restaurant overlooking the beach.   

It really was such a great vacation!
