Oh my! Eleven!

11 months! This little guy is so fun! He will hold on to one finger and try to walk around. He is crawling everywhere and getting into every thing.  Sometimes he just can't stop jabbering.

Kindergarten

For the record, I'm going to be a mess when Bo gets to this stage. Thankfully he still has 4 more years.

Although he doesn't talk about his emotions all that easily I could tell he was excited about Kindergarten.  He was eager to write out "kindergarten" as opposed to Brody who just wanted me to write it.  He was ready to go without any extra prompting from us.   The night before he did have a few worries but nothing that made him too anxious.

His teacher is new to the school so I don't know much about her.  She seems to be very sweet and patient and has lots of experience with kindergarten aged children.

However, the best thing about Colt's half day kindergarten class is the number of kids.  He is in a class with 14 kids.  10 girls and 4 boys.   How wonderful is that?

I'm looking forward to seeing how this boy grows and learns this year.   It's going to be awesome!

2nd grade

We have been anxiously waiting to hear who Brody would have for his teacher. When we found out it was Ms. Blakley we have heard nothing but positive comments. Things such as "She is the sweetest lady." "Best teacher at the school, hands down." So it makes me very happy and I'm excited to see how this year unfolds.

Brody didn't have much to say about his day but we did end up having some bus route confusion.  It even resulted in Brody getting off the bus with tears (the 2nd day).  Thankfully with the help of his teacher and some discussion he got off the bus on Friday with a big smile on his face.  I'm glad that is behind us and now we can focus on a great year.

Labor Day - Part 3

We tried to get a few pictures with all the cousins. Colt was gone for this one.

Maysa was so great with the kids and loved holding Bo.

Brody learned a fun game from Kyle.  Aggravation.

Sock and Sandal guy.  You are one of us.

Proof that Brad helped out around camp.

Labor Day - Part 2

On Saturday there is always a washoe tournament. Mark & Dave are carefully planning the brackets.

I ended up in the championship game but failed to take home the trophy.

Justin & Ashley brought this wagon for the kids to play in.  They also brought their adorable little boy, Jensen.  He is a few months older than Bo.

Brody & Colt were serious players and played their hearts out.  They were against each other in the first round and Brody made a come from behind victory to win the match.

The top of the helicopter pad again.

A selfie

It's a tough age for Bo at the campground.  He isn't walking yet but wants to move around.  Needless to say, he was dirty.  But thankfully he never swallowed rocks.  Dirt, I'm not so sure about.

Playing Bingo.

Another cousin, Wyatt joined us on Sunday.  He is 17 months old.  It will be fun to see Wyatt, Bo & Jensen playing together next year and in the years to come.

Uncle Mark took us on a walk to find an owl.  He wanted to get a picture of it.  We did scare it out of the tree but didn't get a great picture.

More wagon rides.
