Ollie's 1 month photo shoot

Our little Ollie is one month old. It's always hard to believe how quickly it goes by.

He has had his first cold but seems to be recovering quickly. (and hopefully the rest of us are over colds)

He does what babies do best...sleeps, eats and poops.

Oops....he doesn't quite sit up by himself yet.

It's kind of a smile.

Drawing

I've been slacking the past few months with doing "craft" projects with the boys. The other day I finally let them get some markers and crayons out to color with. (If I had more energy I probably would have put the markers away. Instead I just hoped they didn't draw on things other than paper. I think we did ok.) Since I haven't really been doing much with them I didn't think I would see Brody actually draw a face like he did. It's amazing what they learn to do. Here are a few pictures of his drawings.

Nanny's Chocolate Pudding

Brody received a package in the mail from Nanny. There was a package of cookies and 4 packages of chocolate pudding. We made the chocolate pudding and the boys LOVED it.

We LOVE Papa Bob!

A lot of people ask how I am handling 3 kids with the oldest just turning 3. I know I'm not the first mother to experience this and definitely not the last. But the truth is I could not do this without the tremendous support from family and friends. We are so blessed.

I have to give special praise to Papa Bob (my dad). I don't think you can find someone who does not love Papa Bob. He is outgoing, friendly, helpful and many other things but most importantly he is Papa Bob. He has helped us out on numerous occasions for various reasons.

This last week I called him on Sunday evening around 9:30 PM to see if he could come watch Brody & Colt the next day. (Brad, Ollie and I went to Yakima to visit Brad's grandparents) Without hesitation he was willing to come to our house and hang out all day with the boys. (It does help that he is retired) He even did this when Colt was running a fever. He never makes us feel bad or puts pressure on us to be home at a certain time.

The best part is that the boys LOVE Papa Bob! Thank you Papa Bob...we LOVE you!

3 weeks and growing

Little Ollie continues to grow and seems to be a pretty happy guy. We are so lucky to have him as part of our family. It's hard to believe he is already 3 weeks.

Colt - 19 Months

Colt is 19 months! He is such a little trooper as we discovered that he still has a double ear infection and is on his 4th round of antibiotics. We are praying this round will heal him of these infections.

He is in love with his little brother Ollie and seems to be adjusting pretty well to this transition.

It's hard to get Colt to sit still for a picture. He's so busy these days.

Brody's 3rd Birthday

We celebrated Brody's 3rd birthday with our family. A few nights before we went to Toys R Us to buy some hot wheel race tracks. This was also a present for Brad because I think he had just as much fun. The tracks were all set up during the birthday party which made for a bit of a mess. Brody had a great time opening presents. Here he is opening a present from Aunt Jessie.

Our neighbor Mark came over and gave Brody a tape measure. He loved it!

This is a long video of us singing Happy Birthday.

And a short video of Brody blowing out his candle.
