Pierced Ears

Darby has asked to get her ears before but the timing was always right in the middle of some sports. She asked to get them again and I realized she would have about 2 weeks off during Christmas Break so we went to get them done.  She was nervous and said it hurt but now she is part of the ear piercing world. 

 

The Speakeasy

Brad and I had a one night getaway.  It was exactly what we needed.   We ended up at the Speak easy at Daniel's Broiler.   I'm still not sure what it means by a speak easy but Brad loved everything about it.  We had some drinks and appetizers.   Then we went to Bellevue Square and walked around.  We were trying to track down some dessert, mostly ice cream but everything was closed so we went back to Daniel's and the speak easy and ordered a fancy dessert.   

 

Mall Browsing

 Darby was asking me to take her to the mall.   I said "no way!"  Thankfully she has her dad who agreed to take her and Bo.  I'm glad they enjoy it more than me.  

More Kraken

 Brad took Ollie & Bo to the Kraken game.   Everyone else had conflicts.   Always a fun time at the Kraken games.  

Soccer Shelter

 I have enjoyed watching Ollie's soccer games this season.  If the weather isn't that great then I will sit in the car if I can still see the field.   I went to a game a few weeks ago and the weather was miserable.  I had my umbrella and rain gear but another mom offered to let me sit in this soccer shelter for the game.  It was fun to finally experience one of these things.   But it was a little tricky to see through the rain on the plastic window.  

Seahawks

 Brad took Darby to a Seahawks game because it is one of the first games where Darby didn't have one of her own games to go to.  She had a blast and keeps asking when she gets to go again.  

Basketball Fans

 Bo had a basketball game for his Issaquah Select team.  Darby and Brad were gone at Darby's game but all his brothers came to watch.  :)
