Salmon Days Parade

The summer celebration continues. Darby & Bo's softball and baseball teams were asked to participate in the Salmon Days Parade this year. Darby originally had a conflict with a softball game but it was canceled so she was able to go (along with about 3 of her teammates). It was a beautiful morning for the parade so we made the big 3 go to the parade too.

We walked around to check out some of the booths and spotted Abi and her friend.

Brad and I were both impressed with the amount of people who came to watch the parade.  Brad said there were so many people clapping and cheering for these teams.  So much fun!

Baby turns 11!

Bo turned 11 last week and I can't believe my baby is this old. He continues to be kind, thoughtful, caring, so sweet, gives the best hugs and continually cracks us up. He is a mini Brad.

We had donuts, sushi, Chick-fil-A and even snuck in Swedish Pancakes as a bonus.

We are so happy we get to celebrate Bo!

Puppy Sitting

Papa Bob & Grandma Shari went to Florida for 2 weeks and they asked if we could watch Jetta. The kids were excited to have Jetta here again. It was definitely a little stressful having one more thing to think about but also enjoyable to have a reason to go for multiple walks a day. She is such a sweet puppy. I wish I took a video of the moment Papa Bob & Grandma Shari returned. Jetta was so excited!!!!

Hoco!

Brody, Colt & Ollie all went to Homecoming. It was a bit of a whirlwind getting their outfits coordinated, plans solidified and everyone to where they needed to be.  Brad was at a softball tournament with Darby and Bo had a soccer game around the same time everyone was getting ready and waiting for pictures.  Thankfully Brody was able to get pictures with his date and some moms sent pictures of Colt's group.  I was able to get Ollie to his group and was there for pictures.

They all had a fun time and I am thankful they had the opportunity to go.

My homecoming date was this sweet boy....and we had Sushi!

Homecoming Football

Darby's softball game was canceled so she ended up having an evening free. It was also the Homecoming game at the high school so we all went in some capacity.  Darby wanted to do some last minute dress up for the game.  I snapped this picture of her and Mia putting on modified tutus in the Michael's parking lot.

Finn, Louie and Bo had a great time. They saw lots of people they knew.

First Pitch

Darby's All-star team was recognized before the Mariners game (along with the boys who won state). Her team did a random draw for who would be the pitcher and who would be the catcher. Darby's name was picked and she had the amazing opportunity to throw out the first pitch.

In the press room before they went out to the field.   They didn't do anything in here other than have their own pretend press conference.

She nailed it!  So fun and so proud of her!
