Jetta

Papa Bob & Grandma Shari got a new puppy. I took Darby & Bo down to meet her. Her name is Jetta and she is the cutest little thing. We will get a chance to puppysit one of these days.

Eclipse

The solar eclipse came and went and we missed it. We were far away from the path of totality plus it was cloudy.  Brad pulled out his shirt and took these pictures.  A fun reminder of the crazy time we had selling t-shirts and glasses back in 2017.

Sushi with Bo

We had an evening where we only had one kid with us. The others were at friends or a sports practice. So, we decided to take Bo to sushi for dinner. It was weird and fun to hang out with only him and he LOVES his Sushi.

Track vs. Skyline

Brody had a track meet at Skyline. He was in the 3rd heat of the 800 M. It was clearly the wrong heat because he won his race by quite a bit. We love watching him run.

Easter afternoon

My cousin Carissa was set to host Easter at her house. Late Saturday night/early sunday morning we got the message that she had to cancel because one of her kids was sick. So, I offered to host it at our house.  Hosting is not my gift but I do love having people over, especially on a sunny day.  It was perfect.  We played pickle ball, had an Easter Egg hunt and ate some yummy food (thankfully everyone brought something so it made it easy).

I am thankful everything worked out so nicely.  We all had a wonderful time!

Easter Morning

It was a beautiful day to celebrate Easter!  After my morning walk we kind of dressed up and made it to church on time.

After church we went over to Brian and Angie's for a nice Easter brunch.

Tolo

Brody & Colt had Tolo at their school. (It's a dance where girls are supposed to ask boys). I didn't know Colt was going until the last minute so we were scrambling to find "western themed" clothes for both of them.  Somehow they managed to pull their outfits together. :)

They both had a great time but the funniest thing was neither of them actually went to the dance at the school.  I guess most people don't go to the actual dance.  Weird.

It is bittersweet watching them go through these stages.  A reminder of how quickly they are growing up.
