IMS Soccer

Darby tried out for the middle school soccer team. She made the Varsity team so we have been able to watch her play in 2 games. She looks a lot smaller than a lot of the girls but she is able to hold her own and does a great job out on the field. We are proud of her. The last game was a beautiful but cold evening for soccer.

46 celebrations!

I was slightly annoyed my birthday was on the same day as the Super Bowl. This is the first year it has happened because they extended the season to 17 weeks this year. Although it won't happen every year it will happen every 5 - 6 years now.

Despite my annoyance, I had a great birthday.

I watched Colt play some baseball.

My parents came up for lunch and we celebrated our birthdays.

We had forced family football in the cul-de-sac.

I read a bit of my book.

I took a short nap.

Finished the evening watching a show with the family.

I am so grateful for another year to celebrate.

Ollie made this rose for me.  He had some help from Bo & Darby who helped him collect specific Lego pieces.  What a sweet and thoughtful gift.

February Baseball

Colt had one of his first scrimmages with his new baseball team. It was dumping rain. Thankfully the fans were under canopies but those kids were soaked.

I took these pictures of Colt catching and the kid batting is one of his teammates from last year.

XC Skiing Birthday

I arranged for another cross country skiing adventure with my friends Sarah & Karen. Jen was supposed to come but she had to cancel. We had a beautiful day and went to Cabin Creek which is where we went two years ago. It was so much fun for all of us.  Also a fun way to kick off my birthday weekend.

Lunch Date

Brad had a lunch date the other day.  Great company, delicious food.

Glove Training

Colt has a new catcher's glove that he is trying to get broken in. Brad has taken him to a batting cage so he can let the pitching machine fire balls at him. Sounds like fun.

9/10 Basketball

A few pictures from Colt & Ollie's basketball game. We love watching them play.
