Happy Lemon

One of Darby's favorite places to go is Happy Lemon. It's a Boba Tea store with bubble waffles. She often asks to go after a practice or game. 

 

Sometimes she gets lucky and Brad will take her.   

 

Ski days

This last week I was able to get up to the mountain twice to do some downhill skiing. I went with my friend Jenny. The snow wasn't great so we stuck to mostly green runs. We did do one blue run. 

 

 

 The next day I went with Maria. She is a better and more confident skier so I followed her down the blue runs. It wasn't always pretty but I could feel myself getting a little better each time.  The best part is that we had some beautiful weather (as opposed to the fog I had the day before). 

 

Bead Projects

Bo is able to "sell" homemade items in his class on every other friday. He decided he wanted to make some more perler bead creations. I love helping him even though it is just picking out the right color of beads.  These moments are fleeting so I try my best to savor them.

IGBA Night

Bo had a special night at the Issaquah High school basketball game for his own basketball team. They recognized all the players in their select program.

 These aren't great pictures but you get the idea.  Bo was so excited to be there!

Ski Day

The kids had a day off of school last week for a teacher work day.  This year I didn't drag the kids up to the mountain but let them decide if they wanted to go.   Brody decided to stay home but the rest of the kids wanted to go.  Colt ended up going with Brad later in the day so I took Ollie, Darby & Bo. 

It was really foggy but the snow was pretty good.  I had to use Brody's skis because Ollie was using mine.   They had a fun time and I'm glad we got some skiing in.  (I did force them to take this picture).
