Ten!

My baby is TEN! It is hard to believe.

Bo is such a sweet boy and always gives me hugs.

We celebrated with donuts for breakfast.

Sushi for lunch (I brought it to him at school).

Chicken Wings for Dinner

The decorated door.

And presents!

Yikes!

Look who is driving.  He asked me if he should "hit it" when we were going around the cul-de-sac.  And I thought it was nerve wracking driving with Brody.

Post Soccer Vibes

Grandma Shari came to watch a few soccer games. We actually got lucky because Darby & Ollie were playing on fields right next to each other....at the same time. After the games the kids wanted to go out to eat. I said no. Grandma said yes.....or maybe she easily convinced me...plus Brad was out of town.

We went to Fatburger and called Brody to join us.

Brody's Homecoming

After a little bit of prodding by me, Brody asked Camila to Homecoming. He went with her last year to Skyline's homecoming.  Apparently it wasn't because of me that he asked her.

Anyways, they met for pictures down at the Kirkland Marina then went to dinner, the dance and to a friend's house for a little after party.  He had a great time.

I am thankful my kids get to enjoy these experiences.

Colt's Homecoming

Colt asked a girl, Aubrie, to Homecoming.  They went with a group and met at the Newcastle Golf Course.  They ate dinner at the restaurant there and then went to the dance.  He came home after the dance was over but had a great time.

Middle School Cross Country

Darby & Ollie had their first cross country meet of the season.  I volunteered to help out which meant I stayed at this one turn for all 4 races and didn't get to see the finish of any of them.   But I guess I still got to see them and get these two pictures of Darby.

Darby came in 2nd and Ollie came in 8th or 9th.  We love watching them race.

Memorial

We had a beautiful memorial for Fafa on Bainbridge Island.   It was a wonderful day celebrating and remembering all the wonderful things but it was also another really hard day.

After the memorial at the Golf Club we went back to Fafa & Grammy's house and had a BBQ.  We made sure we didn't change out of our fancy clothes until we were able to get a family picture.
