Season Opener

Bo and I went to the season opener for the Seahawks. Brad wasn't interested in going so I was going to take Brody but he didn't want to go. Neither did Ollie. Colt & Darby both had sport conflicts. So, it was Bo.  I don't like the idea of driving downtown by myself so thankfully we were able to carpool into the game.  That made a big difference for me. 

Bo had a great time. 

The Seahawks did not.   Bummer.

Traveling

We drove MARV down to the reunion. On our way down we stopped in Yakima for dinner. We ate at Panera Bread. Then we parked in the Cabela's parking lot.

We had a rest stop in a little town on Friday.

On our way back from Oregon we stopped in Shaniko to get some ice cream.  

And we took some naps in MARV.

 

Ranger Station

Over Labor Day weekend we drove down to Prineville for the Smith Family reunion.
It was such a great weekend with washoes, horseshoes, and yummy food. 

 

We parked overnight at Cabela's on our way down.

We didn't have a very good showing this year since there were no Barquists in the finals. 

But it's still a very fun time.

 We also had a very nice memorial for Fafa when we were down there.  It was great to be surrounded by family. 

1st day of School

Bo had his meet the teacher and this is the first time in a long time where I only had 1 kid. (I think when I brought Brody I was dragging along other kids).  

It's weird having only 1 left in Elementary School.  (a bit sad actually)

The first day of school went pretty well.  I was nervous they would have a hard time waking up so early after our summer of morning leisure.   But they were all excited and ready to go. 

After they went to school it was Bo's turn.

Brody didn't have to go in until 11:30 because they had freshman orientation and didn't need to be there.

Mafia

Trey taught us all how to play Mafia. (I have played it lots of times in college so it was familiar to me). Everyone loved it and it was a great activity for this campground. 

(I actually didn't really enjoy playing it because I didn't like being the Mafia and being secretive about everything.  Too stressful.)
