Mother's Day

We spent Mother's Day morning watching Darby play softball.  After going to Grandma Shari's we came back home and had a few hours....I did some reading.   And I forced a picture with all my kids.  These are my joy! 

We met up with the other Barquist's and Grammy & Fafa to celebrate birthdays (Fafa & Aunt Angie's) and Mother's Day.   We went to Outback Steakhouse which had some great air conditioning.  

 

Mother's Day Lunch

 

The middle of our Mother's Day included a stop at Grandma Shari's for some lunch and hang out time.  These kids are so cute with Grandma Shari....and getting taller than her. 

Soccer Profile

 I had to get a picture of Darby in a white shirt for her soccer team.   It's nice to have a simple straight on picture of her.    A lot of people say she looks like me but I can see a lot of Brad in this picture.   (And I think she looks a lot more like Brad than me).

Whiteboard

 One of the perks of subbing at the schools is Darby & Bo come with me in the morning. Sometimes its great and other times it's a bit of a distraction.   Lately they have been writing on the whiteboard and wanted to write all 50 states.   It takes some time so sometimes they run out of time but we got to school early enough for them to finish it. 

T-Ball Strike Zone

Colt decided he wanted to make a t-ball strike zone. I think he saw a video of someone making it. I always try to support their projects so we went to Home Depot to get the supplies and the boys got to work. Trey came over to help too.

 

1st Track Meet

Ollie had his first track meet of the season.  He ran the mile and the 200 on a medley relay.  He loves these track meets and we love watching him. 

 

Morning Walk

 

We have walked to school a few times (on the days I don't sub and it's nice out).  Rachel joined us for this walk.
