Fall Movie Night

Ollie had a movie night with his friends at our neighbors house. I thought they would have been really cold but I guess they had enough blankets.  

 

Trick-or-Treat

 This was the first year that Brad and I didn't have any kids we could follow around while they were trick-or-treating.  (Well, we could have gone with Bo and his friend but they took off way too early).  Darby, Ollie & Colt met up with a group of friends.  Brody ended up walking down to the Haunted House with a couple of friends and also doing some trick-or-treating.  

  It was really bittersweet.   

Brad and I wandered aimlessly through the neighborhood until some friends invited us in.    We are making a better plan for next year that involves walking around the neighborhood and having a Halloween Party.  

Costume Time

We are always coming up with last minute costumes for Halloween but they always turn out to be lots of fun, even if they are a bit stressful. 

80's girl, Old Lady, Peyton Manning, Toad (from Mario Brothers), Jessie (Toy Story) and a detective. 

Brad didn't have a costume this year. 

 

Pumpkins

We went to our friend's house for a Halloween party (the day before Halloween) and we also carved pumpkins. Although Brody decided he didn't feel like carving one.

This is my favorite. 

 

Spooky Spaghetti

After a 2 year hiatus, the school organized the much loved Spooky Spaghetti night.  It is absolute chaos but the kids  have a ton of fun.   

Brad volunteered to be a "Vinny".   

Bo roamed the halls as Grandma Bo and was an absolute hit! 

We had a hard time finding Darby since she was with all her friends.  

 

Preparations

Darby's friend came over to help her with her costume. At the last minute she decided to be an 80's girl, similar to another friend.

 

Soccer Halloween

Darby had a soccer Halloween Party and she wasn't sure what she wanted to be. At the last minute she settled on using the old lady costume. It was a hit!

She's pretty strong for her age.
