Pro Pictures

I am thankful for the moms who take great pictures of my kids at their games. Love these shots of Bo!

Top Gun

I have been wanting to see Top Gun since it first came out but we have had very few windows of time to be able to to do it.  We finally had an evening that we didn't have practices or meetings.   Colt's friend Owen came with us too.

I convinced Brad to sit next to me so we could hold hands and pretend like it was our own little date night.  :)

We all really enjoyed the movie!

Hot Seats

After our time at the pool we went back to the stadium for another evening session of track and field. We were a little more prepared for the hot weather but I don't know if anything can fully prepare you for how hot we felt.  We all rallied and a frozen lemonade helped a little bit.   But overall we had such a fun time watching all the events.

Brad saw his friend Dave and they got a picture together.

Wednesday morning I took one more run on the Pre trails.  Then I walked to get Brad his Starbucks.

We packed up and started our drive back home.

Another fun family adventure with MARV.  We are so thankful for them.

Eugene Pool Day

It felt even hotter on our 2nd full day in Eugene. Brad called his friend Brian Molvason and thankfully he invited us over for lunch and a swim in the pool. It was the perfect way to cool off on such a hot day.

World Championships

Brad, Colt, Ollie & Bo joined us for the finish of the marathon. As we were walking around Brad saw some of his teammates from Michigan.  He also got a picture with some other runners. There was a lot of activity on this beautiful morning.

After relaxing back at the RV we walked to the stadium for the evening track and field events.

This is all of us and John & Cathy at the sign.  (Jack was waiting for a friend).
It was SO hot!  We had no shade and the sun was beating down on us.

After the evening events Brad went out with some friends and took this picture of some famous American runners.

Eugene-Women's Marathon

We got back from Moclips on Friday. Colt had a baseball tournament in Tacoma on Saturday and Sunday. As soon as his game was over we drove down to Eugene, Oregon for the Track and Field World Championships.

We arrived in the evening and on Monday morning Darby and I woke up before 6:00 to watch the women's marathon.  Our RV spot was just a short walk to the starting line and we also were able to walk to another viewing area.  We had so much fun watching these women race, especially the American women who finished 5th, 7th and 8th.

We parked in the parking lot of a BMX park and we thought it would be packed but it was just us and the Sherer's.

John, Kathy and their son Jack flew out from Wisconsin, rented an RV and joined us for this adventure.  (We visited them on our big RV trip so it was fun to see them again).

Two of the American women.

Skimboarders

The kids also practiced their skim boarding skills.  Brad even drove to Ocean Shores to buy two new skimboards so they could experience higher quality rides.
