Boat Day

John & Jenny just joined a boat club in Florida. It's been a great way for them to try out boats and see if they would really use it enough to invest in it. The other perk of the boat club is there are various boat clubs around the country that they can rent boats. So, they reserved a boat day for Monday, which was also a 90 degree day. It was perfect for jumping in the water.

We took the boat over to Lake Union so it was fun to see the city. It was busy!

Basketball & BBQ

While Bo was finishing up his baseball tournament the rest went over to Brian & Angie's for a BBQ. When we got there the kids were busy playing basketball. We were happy no one was seriously injured.

Darby also solved this puzzle so we had to document it.

Baseball tournament

Bo had a baseball tournament in West Seattle while the cousins were here. They all showed up to cheer him on. It was also a game where we played my cousin's son, Jace. We have actually played them quite a few times so it has been fun catching up with Kristi and her family.

Butch & Delight came to watch the game and we were able to get a big group picture with all the cousins, including Kristi's family.

Cousin time

The cousins came into town last week. It was a bit of a whirlwind but non stop fun for everyone.

The first stop was at the property so we could test out the go-karts.

(Colt is in these pictures but he actually wasn't there because he was climbing a mountain).

We also set up slack line with obstacles which was fun for the kids to try out.

Rainier Challenge

Darby had a soccer tournament the weekend after school got out. They won their first two games and tied their 3rd one. We had to wait all day to find out if they made it to the finals. They did and ended up winning the game in a shootout. Darby was the first kicker and she made her shot.
