Animal Kingdom

Day 2 of Disneyworld took us to Animal Kingdom.  We weren't there at opening but we still had a long day in the park. 

The tree of life is the center of the park and a great place to take some pictures. 

 

Soaring through Epcot

We did a lot of other things at Epcot including the Ratatouille ride (Brad's least favorite), Soaring and others I can't remember right now.   It was a long day but always fun when you are with the cousins.

 

There is a place where you can sample soda from all over the world.  The kids loved trying out the different flavors.

Epcot

 Our first day at Disneyworld was at Epcot.   We arrived at opening and stayed until the closing fireworks show. It was a long but fun day. 

We just followed Jenny and she took us around.

Our first stop was Test Track.  It was a fun ride and the kids LOVED creating their test vehicle.

Swim Day

 We arrived in Florida a little before midnight, which didn't seem too bad at the time since it was still only about 9:00 for our west coast time.   Jenny, Papa Bob and Grandma Shari picked us up and by the time we settled into our hotel it was 2:00 in the morning.  We were all definitely tired.  The next day we had a relaxing day and spent some time at the pool.  It was definitely a good transition as we adjusted to East Coast time.

 The resort we stayed at had a nice pool and waterslide that the kids loved going down. 

 

 

 

On a jet plane

Last week we got on a plane and headed to Orlando to see Mickey and our cousins.   The last time we were on an airplane as a family was when Bo had just turned 2.  He is 8 now.   It was a very long flight but the kids were entertained by electronics and Brad and I managed to read. It's definitely a lot different now that they are older.
