More Decorations

When we went to Home Depot Brad did some top secret shopping for extra decorations for our house.  We surprised the kids by walking them outside to see it. 

 

 

Christmas Tree Hunt

We went to find our christmas tree.  Home Depot does it again and we found it within 10 minutes. 

 

Afternoon Football

 I took the kids to the park to get some exercise.  We decided to go to the field where Darby had soccer practice.  They played football for a little bit before her practice started.  

 

 

Jumping in the waves

The water temperature isn't much different than the summer time but the air is a lot colder.  So it is crazy to watch the kids run in the waves.  Brad decided to join them this year.  They lasted about 45 minutes and then pleaded to get in the hot tub. 

 

 

 

 

Turkey Trot

Once again I forced my family to get outside and do a Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving morning. It was meant with a few complaints but once we got going I think they all enjoyed themselves....and then we were lazy the rest of the day. 

 

 

Beach Walks

We went to Moclips last week for Thanksgiving.  I enjoyed my morning walks (and runs) and even discovered this float.   Half of it was covered with barnacles and it didn't quite fit in our van. 

 

Practice

Colt has been able to continue his soccer practices and they are a great way for him to get outside and get some exercise.  I wish all our kids were able to do that but we will take what we can get.   They do have to wear masks the whole time but it doesn't seem to bother him.
