Early Christmas

We had an early Christmas last weekend to celebrate with the Barquist's.

It's always a fun time celebrating and being with family.

Colt got some coal from Uncle Brian.  He couldn't stop laughing.

Sambica Santa Picture

We swung by the Sambica Christmas Carnival to get our free Santa pictures.   It's kind of a tradition.  They didn't turn out great but at least we can check it off the list.

Legos & Water Play

We only have a few more weeks until our membership to the Kids Museum expires. This time when we went it had a Lego area. Bo spent most of the time building legos. I found it kind of funny. He and Jonah also liked the water area.

Santa Fire Truck

The Fire Truck came through our neighborhood the other night. We know have a neighbor who coordinates the time and lets everyone know when it will be there. It is definitely better than it used to be when we just hoped we were home and looking out the window at the right time.

Snowflake Lane

We went to Snowflake Lane the other night.

The favorite part for the kids is getting the suckers.

Santa walked by and I made Colt get a picture with him.

The Nutcracker

Darby and I went to see our neighbor, Kira perform in the Nutcracker. Darby's friend, Melina, and her mom joined us. It was a fun outing with the girls.

Gingerbread Houses

I saw some gingerbread houses at Target and was excited to see there were 4 mini ones in a box. I bought two of the boxes so all my kids and Jonah could each have their own.

The kids complained, at first, but then had just as much fun decorating the little ones as they did the big ones.  Less money, less space.

It's fun to see how detailed they can get.

I think this kid is officially brainwashed.  At least it is a team we like.

Since Brody had school and didn't do gingerbread houses with the younger kids he came home and spent A LOT of time being very meticulous about his house (Brad Jr.).  It turned out very well.
