Birthday Party

As you may know birthday parties aren't my jam.  

I asked Bo what he wanted to do for his birthday and he said he wanted to go back to the indoor play place at Factoria Mall.  It turned out to be a sunny day and I tried my hardest to convince him to go to a park but he wouldn't budge.

He had a ton of fun on his birthday and was thankful Finn and Jonah could go to his birthday party. 

   

Cake!

Bo decorated his cake. Brad and Colt were gone at the Seahawks game. So, we had to sing happy birthday and eat it before they got home. 

Birthday Morning

Bo was counting down the days until his birthday. And I, of course, was trying to figure out how to stop it. I still can't believe he is 6. It seems so old and he is still my baby. 

Jonah gave Bo this tiger and Bo was thrilled!    It's a very soft Tiger so I may have already snuggled it a few times. 

 

We also had donuts for breakfast and then opened a few more presents before they had to head off to school.   Bo did ask why he had to go to school on his birthday.   Fair question. 

Fall Beach Time

Brad had a cross country meet at Luther Burbank Park so I took the kids there. They wanted to play at the beach even though we didn't bring swimsuits. 

Fish Hatchery

We met some friends at the Fish hatchery last week. We aren't sure if it was the day or just the time of day but there weren't as many fish around as there has been in the past. 

It's ok, because it was just a nice excuse to get outside and do something. 

 

Kids Quest

I thought our membership to Kids Quest Museum was experiencing at the end of September. So I squeezed in another visit. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that we have until the end of the year before it expires. So, we will be using it a few more times, especially on those rainy afternoons. 

Bo loved the Lincoln Logs and was so proud of his creations. 

Playtastic Emporium

We were going to go to Kids Quest Museum but when we got there it was closed. I guess its closed on Mondays. So we went to an indoor play place at Factoria Mall called Playtastic Emporium. It isn't my favorite place but it was a good activity for a rainy day.
