Ollie's 9th Birthday Party

Ollie had his 9th birthday party this last weekend and we planned it a week ago. He did all of the planning and I only helped him bake the cake and decorate it. You won't find anything fancy with this party (or any of my parties) but I know the boys had a lot of fun. They played games for almost 3 hours and stopped for a snack break and of course cake and ice cream. 

Of course, the most important part was that Ollie had a fun time. 

 

Shoe Problem?

This is real life. 

Colt has blown out of his shoes but still wears them.  There is a pair of shoes at home that he can wear but he prefers these.   I absolutely HATE shopping so I will be sending Brad with him to get a new pair.  :)

Sounders Opening Game

The opening game for the Sounders kind of snuck up on us.   The same morning I texted a babysitter to see if she might be available....and she was.  So we had another date night.  Woo hoo! 

The Sounders went down 1-0 early in the game but came back to score 4 goals.  They played great and of course it makes us excited for the season.  The real question is how many games will we get to see in person. 

Catching Practice

Since Brad is coaching track now I am back on for driving the kids to all their activities/sports. The plus side is I get to watch them do their thing. 

D & Dr. Seuss

Darby's teacher sent me this sweet picture of Darby and Dr. Seuss on the day they celebrated his birthday.  

Birthday Brownies

We celebrated Brad's 51st birthday by taking a trip up to the mountains (more pictures from that later). We ended the day with Brownies and Ice Cream. I also discovered that we don't have any candles except for a #9. Oops.
