School Snow Days

Last week the kids had no school on Monday and Tuesday. Then they went to school an hour late on Wednesday but also had early dismissal because that is what they usually get on Wednesdays. On Thursday they had their only full day of school. Friday they went to school but they declared an early dismissal with the forecasted snow. This is a picture of my kids waiting for the bus. I told them how cold it was (less than 20 degrees) and still some decide to only wear shorts and a tshirt. At least I got Colt to wear a sweatshirt.

Darby isn't pictured but she was there and dressed with pants and three layers on top.

Sledding

Our neighbors are awesome and one of them always lets us led on her driveway.

It isn't super fast but it is enough to make the kids happy.

Snow & Hot Tubs

The kids played and played for our snow day.

Then they jumped in the hot tub.... and the snow.

More Flipping

I love it when I get a chance to watch Darby do gymnastics.

I still wish I could do these things.

4th Grade Baller

Colt had his last 4th grade basketball game on Saturday.  I don't know who is more disappointed about this, Brad or Colt.   Brad had an absolute blast coaching this team and we know Colt had a great time playing.  We are all going to miss watching him play.  But  now it is baseball season.

Date Night #5 - Sushi Date

We squeezed in our final date night for January Date Nights.  My friend Ganesa came over to watch Bo and I met Brad for a lunch date.  He did some research on a sushi place near his work and we went there.  It was yummy.  And of course it is always great when we have time together.

Bonus....it was sunny in January.  I didn't have my sunglasses but still took the picture.
