Camping Flashback

A few more random pictures from Colt's camping birthday weekend.

He isn't so sure about this 10 thing....or maybe he is. 

Our trek to the river wasn't as easy this year. 

The kids made ferns to disguise themselves.   It was great for the game of Rush they played. 

Brad & Darby played Lawn Darts and Darby was so shocked by this amazing throw. 

We made some new meals over the campfire.  It was a fun experiment! 

Alki Memories

These pictures are from our summer trip to Alki. With the Hodo family. They are from Brad's phone. 

Brad & Dan joined us after work.  It was nice to finish off our day with them joining us.  The only downside was the smoky condition. 

 

Icing

Colt has been having some tight calves lately.  We think he is about to grow.  Brad will get his ice bags and wrap them up.  At least it helps him sleep better.  

Morning time

Someone took my phone and started taking pictures of Bo. Then Bo got mad that they were taking selfies. Never a dull moment around here. 

Pine Lake Park

Brody had soccer practice at Pine Lake Park. Normally I would drop him off and then have Brad pick him up. But Brad had a cross country meeting. It seemed silly to drive all the way home just to turn back around so we decided to play at the park. 

We discovered a fingerboard park.  

 

When we were almost done Bo & Darby discovered a rock climbing wall. 

 They both made it to the top.  

Nail salon

Last weekend we went to Orcas Island for our annual Soccer Campout.  This time there weren't as many families so we actually didn't campout and instead slept in one of their rooms.  It worked out great!  We had a fun time.  Darby especially loved that she was one of the only girls there.  She had some special attention from Ms. Heather who painted her toes and nails. 

Coffee Date

The boys ended up spending the night at Papa Bob's, Bo too. Darby came home with me. We ended up having a fun coffee date and also some great one on one time. I think she would love to do this every day.
