The Mushroom House

Whenever we have a break in the weather we try to go outside and sometimes that even means a quick trip to the park. Bo's favorite park right now is Lake Sammamish State Park which he refers to as the Mushroom House (because it has a mushroom house you can play in) 

One week we went here four out of five days.  Since it's so close it is easy to go for just a few minutes. 

 

On this particular day we ended up going back to the park after we picked up Darby.  

Family Fun Center

The day after Brad's 50th birthday we decided to celebrate as a family at the Family Fun Center. It was such a money suck but we had fun and the kids finally got their wish to go there. Hopefully it will be awhile before we go there again. 

The wind up

Colt had one of his first games with IBC. He was first up to pitch. He did pretty well although he still has some work to do.  But I think all pitchers have work to do.

Lay Ups

Skiing

We spent the night with some good friends who are renting a condo at the pass. It was nice to be able to stay up there. The next day we went skiing. Brad actually drove Colt down to Issaquah fora baseball game. Our friends were so kind and went skiing with Ollie & Darby and their two kids. Brody was with Zephyr and I hung out with Bo ALL day long. When Brad and Colt got back Brad joined Ollie and Darby.  

After skiing we went back to our friends condo and the kids went in the hot tub.   And then they decided to jump in the snow. 

It was such a great weekend!  

Tubing

Last weekend we went up to the mountain. We met Jason, Zephyr and some of their friends for a few hours of tubing.   The kids had a blast and I was scared every time we went down the hill.
