Darby selfies

I lost my camera a while ago, as in almost a year ago. I have been taking most of my pictures on my phone. I found it. Darby started having some fun with it and took these selfies.

Bo's blue tongue

The kids wanted to take a picture of Bo's tongue so they could show him how blue it was.

The Christmas Tree

We stopped by Home Depot after church to pick out our Christmas tree. The selection was poor but we still managed to find one.

Braid Extensions

Darby received a braid extension from our neighbors. Brad found it and thought it would be fun to put in his hair. He wore it when he picked Darby up from gymnastics. Apparently she thought it was hilarious!

Monday Night Football

Brad took Brody to his first Seahawks game, on Monday night. Brody had a great time even though the Seahawks couldn't pull out a victory.

Border Clash

Three of Brad's high school runners qualified for the Border Clash. It is a cross country race between the best high school runners in Washington and Oregon. The meet is held at the Nike Campus. We decided to take the whole family down there and make it into a fun family getaway.  I also told the kids it would be fun because we could swim in the hotel pool.

We got the kids out of school a little early on Friday and drove down.  We met up with the runners,  went to dinner and then had some time in the pool.

The next morning we went to the race.  The kids had a fun time watching the runners and running to different places on the course.

The only bummer about the whole trip is that we drove back after the race so we could get home for another event that we had on the calendar.  We do hope that we can go as a family again and make it a fun weekend in Portland.  Even if we spend the whole time in the pool the kids would be happy.
