Last Day of School Assembly

Our school has an end of the year assembly. This is the first year I have gone. It was very cute but it was also very long, especially for a 3 and 5 year old. 

Sunset Singers sang a few songs and then those kids in Ukulele club played a song.   

Every grade also sang a song the have been working on.  I didn't do a great job getting videos.  

 

Happy Father's Day!

Father's Day ended up a little differently than we had planned. More on that later. We did go to see the new Cars movie (we still like the first one the best). Then we headed to Taco Time for dinner. 

Mountain Biking

My friend was looking for someone to go mountain biking with her. So I dusted off my mountain bike and joined her and another friend at Duthie Hill Park. We had so much fun! My brakes were a bit squeaky but a little tune up will have me back out there in no time.

Field Day

The boys had field day at their school. This was the first year I was able to help.  I barely saw my own kids and didn't even get a picture with Ollie.

After the Swedish festival we went to a neighborhood barbecue. One of my friends organized this barbecue as a way to raise awareness of how we can take care of our earth. They had a lot of great activities for the kids. 

The favorite was the face painting. 

Ollie wanted an Eagle. 

Darby wanted to be a Tiger. 

Bo wanted to be a Green Dog.
