More Baseball

Brad was out of town on his fishing trip so I sent him some pictures and videos of Colt's baseball. 

Whale Park & Jamba Juice

Sometimes we just need to get out of the house to break up our day. Darby & Bo voted for the whale park. It wasn't very hot so I didn't even think about getting wet.  Thankfully they didn't get too wet.  I warned them that if they did get too wet we probably wouldn't get to go to Jamba Juice.

Splash Park

Papa Bob & Grandma Shari watched Darby & Bo so I could go on Ollie's field trip.  They took them to a splash park in Federal Way.   I'm guessing they had too much fun!  

Eager Reader Party

The kids can log minutes for reading and earn prizes throughout the year. I'm terrible at keeping track of their minutes but they do read a lot so I usually just enter the minimum requirement. This is enough to earn them an invitation to the Eager Reader Party. It was absolute chaos. Pizza and ice cream and 500 of their closest friends with very little structure.  

My kids were bummed they didn't get the top ten percent.  They were actually mad at me for not recording all their minutes.  But I'm just happy I recorded some, plus I'm just glad they like to read. 

Cubs

A few pictures and videos from Colt's last baseball game. He played first base (which always gets some action) and pitcher. He's not actually pitching but stands behind the mound. 

Stairs

My neighbor sent these adorable pictures of Darby, Bo & Kate peeking through the stairs. This was at their cabin we went to over the weekend.
