Birthday Open House

We had a birthday Open House to celebrate our March birthdays. We also celebrated Grammy's birthday which is on April 2.   Once again, Bo & Colt were troopers watching them open their presents.  

Ballet/Jazz Class

You've been warned. This is an overdose of cuteness! Darby & her friend Kylie had their last dance class. We were able to sit in and watch and take some video. Adorable! 

Recorder Concert

Having been a fourth grade teacher I knew what to expect when Brody came home with a recorder. Thankfully (for better or worse) he didn't practice too much at home. They had a recorder concert at school and this was the first of five we will have to sit through. 

With that build up, I must say it was WAY better than I expected.  The music teacher did a great job adding in extra instruments and providing a little variety to the show.   Brody did a great job and we always enjoy watching him perform. 

 

IHOP

Since I was at my ladies weekend, Brad was at home with the kids. We had a small blunder in the morning when another parent forgot to pick Colt up for baseball practice.  Brad made up for it by playing a lot of baseball with Colt.  He said he had a great day playing with the kids. 

On Sunday, we were out of milk so Brad took the kids to IHOP for breakfast before taking them all to church.  He said they did great and even got a compliment from another IHOP customer. 

Ladies Weekend

We missed our Ladies weekend last year so we wanted to make sure we planned one for this year. It is one of my favorite things. Wonderful friends, relaxing, running, finishing puzzles and catching up with each other.

Cupcake Party

I had a little birthday party for Darby. We invited the neighbors and her friends Kylie and Nathan. It ended up being a nice afternoon so we ate the cupcakes and played outside. My idea of a perfect little party.

My friend Ganesa watched the kids for the morning so I picked up a few store bought cupcakes (Yummy!) and we had another birthday celebration for Darby. It's always fun to have an excuse to enjoy some sweets!
