Christmas Day Evening

After our Christmas morning and some time spent being lazy, we headed down to Uncle Mark & Aunt Pede's house. We ate food and had a very low key evening. It was very nice. The kids played some video games and a few other games, including twister. It was a nice end to our Christmas day.

Brad and I got our Starbucks Christmas drinks.

Christmas Morning

We got home really late Christmas Eve and thankfully the kids slept in so Brad and I were able to as well. And sleeping in for me was waking up at 6:45.   It made for a wonderful, relaxing, kind of peaceful morning.   It was just perfect.

And then of course there was chaos....something I will miss.

Christmas Fire Truck

The Christmas Fire Truck came through our neighborhood. Brad, Brody & Colt were at basketball practice so they missed the fun. I didn't get a picture with Ollie or Bo but they were too. My friend was able to get this picture of Darby.

Christmas Eve

We went out to Bainbridge Island Christmas Eve morning. We spent the day there hanging out with family, eating yummy food, playing with the train track, watching the Seahawks (lose, and yes I was hiding upstairs), and opening presents.

We had a wonderful time.  The kids are spoiled but they have some great memories of their Christmas Eve.

We came back home late Christmas Eve.

Metal Detector

Brody got a metal detector for Christmas so Brad took him and Colt to the park. They found a quarter! They were so excited.

1st Grade Winter Performance

Ollie had a winter performance for his 1st grade class.

We were surprised when Ollie got up and had a speaking role.  They select two kids from each class and he was selected.  We were so proud of him....and of course proud of his singing.

He is in the blue in the very front.

Angels & Shepherds

We went to our church's Christmas Eve Eve service. Yes, you read that right. They planned a service on December 23 since Christmas was on a Sunday and the Seahawks game was on Christmas Eve.

They always have a family service and the preschoolers are included in the program.
They sang Go Tell It on The Mountain.

Darby was timid but Bo nailed his part when the chorus hit.

I love our angel and shepherd!
