Beach time!

We are so lucky and thankful that we had the opportunity to spend another week at our favorite place. Moclips did not disappoint. We stayed in a beautiful house with Fafa,Grammy, Uncle Brian,Aunt Angie, Abi & Andrew. We had such a great week!

The weather wasn't as warm as we were hoping so the log place ended up being one of our favorites.  It is around the corner from the main beach so it blocks a lot of the wind.  The wind is what made us so cold.

The kids could play here all day.

Rainbow

Cameras will never be able to capture the true beauty but I loved this rainbow that appeared outside.

It was a double rainbow (but it's hard to see).

Top Secret Photo Shoot

Two little people got a hold of my camera and decided to have a photo shoot. They are so darn cute!

Rollerblades

Brody has been asking for rollerblades for quite some time. We found some at sports consignment shop and he bought them with his money. He fell, a lot, and it made me nervous and I felt bad for him. But he wasn't discouraged. He kept trying until I finally told him to stop. I was afraid he was really going to hurt himself. I hope he doesn't lose the motivation to keep trying.

Saying goodbye

Saying goodbye is never easy especially as our families grow and life gets busier. We all hope we can keep finding ways to see each other even if it is exhausting for these mommas.

Snoqualmie Falls

One of the last days the Welkes were here we went to Snoqualmie Falls. The weather wasn't as nice as we were hoping but this was a nice alternative to a beach day we were hoping for. I didn't take many pictures but we were there.

Alki Beach

Lori had mentioned the idea of going to Alki Beach while they were here. I love Alki so of course I was ready to go. The tide was out when we arrived and the kids had such a fun time. We really could have stayed there all day but needed to head home to beat the traffic.

Most of the time Lori and I just talked and the kids played by themselves, coming up with their own creative games.   They only time it wasn't so relaxing is when we had to take someone to the bathroom or get them food.
