Dancing & Singing

The day after Christmas we had our Andresen family christmas at my parents house.  We always love seeing this family and I am always so sad that our time is so short.

Darby playing peek-a-boo with Jace.   (Jace is the same age as Bo)

We always sing Christmas carols.  It might not sound great but I know we all have great memories of this crazy tradition.

The kids played on Papa Bob's instrument (I can't remember what its called).

Opening a present

Here are lots of videos of us singing.  They are a little painful but I know there are a few people who will enjoy every second of them and it will make them miss us terribly.

I just love this family!

Christmas Day Activities

After our low key Christmas morning we headed down to Aunt Pede's.

It was a pretty enjoyable time.  The kids said they were bored 10 minutes after we got there but they were crying when we had to leave.   I think they had fun.

Opening presents from Papa Bob & Grandma Shari

Darby got a kitchen from Aunt Jenny & Aunt Jessi so we set it up and let the kids play with it.  We had lots of coffee and tea made for us.

Joe is the master of entertainment.  Here he is playing a game with Brody.

Then he uploaded pictures of the kids and put them in a video on JibJab, displaying it on the TV.  We all had fun watching them dance around.

Christmas morning

The kids have been counting down the days until Santa came.  Although they all agreed it came here really fast.  They were ready to open their presents.

But first a family picture in front of the tree.

And then Brody read the Christmas Story; Luke 2.

Time to open presents!

A few videos of them opening their presents.

I finally decided to get the kids nerf guns.  They were so excited!   I think Brad was happy I finally let them in our house.

Christmas Eve

On Christmas Eve we went to the 5:00 service at our church. They have a family style service so we took up a whole row.  They have enough variety to keep the kids mostly engaged.  It's hard to keep a 2 year old engaged and quiet the whole time but they all did a good job.

Darby & Ollie have been working on their Christmas songs to sing in front of church.

Brad & our angel Darby.

Ollie our shepherd

Darby instantly got stage fright and wouldn't go up there.  But Ollie was a superstar!

A few family pictures after the service.

Brad was able to convince Darby to get in this Christmas dress.  Adorable!

A lot of videos of Ollie singing.  We were so proud of him.
