In true Ollie fashion, he quickly found his best friends at camp and hasn't stopped talking about them.

Now that the kids are getting older they can actually participate in some of the camp games with a little bit of success.  The boys love it!

Deer & Bunkers

Brad had his cross country camp last week. He took Colt with him on Saturday afternoon and they went to camp on Sunday. Monday morning I took the rest of the crew up to Fort Flagler.  We love it up there.  Last year we stayed two days and this year I planned for three.  However, this year I decided to pitch a tent.   

With the help of one of the kitchen staff I was able to successfully put up our monstrous tent.  Brody & Colt slept in Brad's room at the bunkers so I had Ollie, Darby & Bo with me in the tent.   It wasn't ideal, but it worked.   Plus, we really weren't even at our tent except to sleep. 

Instead we did things like this.

One of my favorite things about summer and our little garden is this. 

Front Yard Pool Time

We organized a cul-de-sac barbecue on a 90+ degree day. It was hot.  Brad set up our happy hour pool in the front yard.  He was way too pleased with his set up but even more pleased with how well it cooled him off.   

It was also a perfect set up for our barbecue.  

 

Run to Win Soccer Camp

Brody & Colt participated in a Run to Win soccer camp. Zephyr was in town so we signed him up too. They all had a great time and were exhausted at the end. 

Brody & Colt both had MVP on Wednesday.  

Zephyr came in 2nd for the Bible battle on two of the days.

Remember the putting contest from our 4th of July weekend. Well, here's a few pictures of Colt. I was sitting in the car with a sleeping Bo and these were on Brad's phone. 

Notice the bandage on his leg, which was the infected bug bite and the Urgent Care visit.
