Easter Morning

With our house plagued by the stomach flu we spent Easter at home. It was definitely different than most Easters but hopefully we won't have to do that again soon. We missed hanging out with our extended family.

We did an egg hunt for the kids.  Brody felt so bad he didn't want to rally for this one.

The rest of the day we spent at home.  We had a ham dinner with a few side dishes.   I was very thankful it was a nice day so we could at least be outside for part of it.

Cul-de-sac Egg Hunt

We had an egg hunt in our cul-de-sac. The rain held off so we were still able to hide the eggs outside.  (Last year we had a downpour)

The kids enjoyed every bit of it.

Brody had thrown up right before this but he was determined to do the egg hunt.  He begged and pleaded so I said he could as long as he stayed away from everyone.

This was Brody only 20 minutes after the egg hunt was over.  He is better now, thankfully.

Indoor Rock Climbing

Lori and I took the big kids Indoor Rock Climbing. They had a blast! It was so fun watching them take on a challenge. You could tell they were a little nervous but were brave enough to try it out.

This was a little area where they could climb without harnesses.  It was perfect for getting out some initial energy.

We went out for frozen yogurt afterwards.

Unfortunately Colt threw it all up as we pulled into our driveway.   :(

Fox Hollow Farm

On Friday morning we took all the kids to Fox Hollow Farm. We beat the rainstorm that moved in and the kids had fun, mostly because they were hanging out with each other.

This area is filled with corn kernels.  The kids loved it (except for Bo, who was a little unsure).
They could have stayed in here all day.

But their favorite thing was riding the gators and quads around the circle.
I was thankful they were all good drivers.
