To the park

I took Colt & Ollie to the park to look for air soft pellets. We call them bb balls. Ollie wanted me to take pictures of him on different stumps/trees/logs. Colt didn't want to be in the picture. 

And for the record, we found a LOT of bb balls. 

 

Pigtails

It's been a while since Darby has had pigtails, mostly because she is about to turn 2 and she has her own opinions about things.  This time I had her watch me in the mirror as I put pigtails in.  I also got her excited to show Daddy.  

I think she looks like Brad in this picture. 

She also loves pockets so naturally LOVES this sweatshirt.  

I just love this little girl, even if she has opinions. 

Sharing a birthday

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE sharing a birthday with my mom. She came up the day after our birthday (I thought my dad was coming too but it was just her). 

We went to the Whale park and then celebrated at Peaks Frozen Yogurt.  Of course it was a beautiful sunny day (and probably the perfect day to go skiing).  Nonetheless we enjoyed our sunny afternoon. 

Brad met us as we were leaving the park and then joined us for Frozen Yogurt. 

Thirty Six

Another year when I feel like I'm 18, only to realize I'm a year older. The kids helped Brad decorate my door.  Brody even made a personal sign for me. 

We had grand plans to take the boys skiing.  We were all loaded up, had a sitter for Darby & Bo and were ready to go when my brother called.  He told us it was raining and 36 degrees at the pass.  We were still welcome to go but he thought it might not be too enjoyable for us. 

We decided against skiing and instead had a night at home.

We made pizza for the kids and ordered thai food for us.

We finished off the evening with a dance party and a little bit of watching the Olympics.

Hopefully we will get up another night to go skiing.

Dancing/Running/Spinning

We were winding down for the day when Darby started acting a little silly.  I'm glad we got this little goof ball on video. 

Andrew's Party

We had fun celebrating Andrew's 4th Birthday. It was a Mickey Mouse theme again.

There was a lot of dancing, playing, pinata pulling and singing. 

Cool Runnings

I wanted to do something for the Winter Olympics so I decided to host a movie night for our neighborhood. We watched Cool Runnings, a Disney classic about the Jaimaican bob sled team. 

By the end of the movie there were only 3 kids left that were interested in the movie.  But it was still a fun night hanging out with our neighbors.
