Squirrel Visit

We were eating breakfast when the boys noticed a squirrel on the back deck. It's quite an event to them since it elicits screams and shrieks.

Surprisingly the screams did not scare the squirrel.  It stayed around for quite a while and became our morning entertainment.

And of course the kids wanted to feed it.

Ryker's Birthday

We were also lucky enough to celebrate Ryker's 5th birthday.  We always love a reason to have cake and ice cream.  We have been able to celebrate Ryker's birthday for his 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th birthdays even though 2 of those birthdays were in other cities.
We are so glad we can celebrate with him.

Football

Our good friends (the Welke family) came to visit and to go skiing up at Snoqualmie Pass. Unfortunately there was not enough snow to ski so they didn't get a chance to go up there. Lucky for us we had them all week. It was awesome!

Laughing

Brad was getting Bo ready for bed and started to make him laugh. I tried to get it on video but he was all out of laughs by the time the video was rolling.

Delight was so happy to get a chance to hold Bo.  She got him to sleep very quickly.

Proof that our singing needs lots of work.

Can you guess which kid has older siblings?

After our singing we did a white elephant gift exchange.  It was pretty calm, as per usual, and Brad and I walked away with two gift cards.  Starbucks & Trader Joe's.

We had a great time.  I love this family!

Christmas Day

After a relaxing morning at home we loaded up the kids and headed down to Papa Bob & Grandma Shari's.  Uncle Justin, Aunt Jessi, Gunner & Sayler and Jason & Olivia were there.

The grandkids (with an extra "baby")

Opening Presents

After Papa Bob's we quickly packed up and headed over to Aunt Pede's.  We had a late lunch/early dinner and then played a fun game (I don't know the name of it) that didn't involve a winner or loser.  This was a key part of the enjoyable time we had.  There was no arguing or fighting to be had.

Bo had fun.

The kids watched Turbo.

Brad picked scratch tickets in the gift exchange.  Here he is with Brody trying to see if he won any money.  He walked away with $18.00.

It was a great Christmas but we were exhausted!

Christmas Morning

We had a nice Christmas morning at home.  I cherish the memories we are making as a family.

Yes, this picture is great because we are all looking at the camera and smiling. You should have seen us 10 seconds before.

A few of the presents
(with a fuzzy camera)

I guess Brody didn't really want this.
