Anniversary Dinner

We managed to convince Olivia to come over and watch the kids so we could celebrate our 9th anniversary on the actual day.  We went to Coho Cafe in Issaquah.  My friend's husband works there and gave us excellent service.  It was also some very tasty food.  We both had salmon and it was probably one of the best salmon dinners we have had.

After dinner we went and saw 2 Guns at the theater.  It wasn't the greatest movie but it is always fun to hang out with Brad.

This was the only picture we got.
(You have to love the serious couple in the background)

Slip n Slide Tricks

We invited our soccer friends over for a last minute BBQ. Brian and Wendy and their two kids were the only ones who came. We still had a lot of fun, especially watching the boys go down the slip n slide. Brody had all sorts of tricks for us to see.

We also had some dancing and then a game of soccer.  It's so fun that the kids are old enough to actually play a decent game.

Cul-de-sac BBQ

We hosted a BBQ for our cul-de-sac. Not all of our neighbors could make it but we were thankful to squeeze one in before the summer was gone. The kids outnumbered the adults and had a great time.  One of the favorite activities was dancing on the back deck.

Cousins & DQ

We had the opportunity to have Sean and Zephyr stay with us for a few nights. We went out for a Dairy Queen treat (it is Sean's favorite)

Blizzard Time!

Beach Time

We did make it down to the beach, but it was cold. I don't think the kids cared but the adults were wishing for a little more warmth. The kids had fun flying kites and making a sandcastle/fort.

Bumper Boats

After mini golf the kids had a blast on the Bumper Boats.

It was fun to see Brody drive one all by himself.
(another small reminder that he is growing up)

Mini Golf at the Ocean

When my sister and her family came out they planned a quick trip to Ocean Shores. We made it into a bigger family event and joined them. (minus Brad & Justin since they both had to work)

It was in the mid 80's everywhere in Washington, except for the coast where it was a nice, breezy 60 degrees.  This 7 1/2 month pregnant mom was not complaining.

So instead of going to the beach we went to a place that had mini golf, bumper boats and an arcade.

The kids had fun and I had quite the workout walking back and forth to the bathroom for me and the kids.  Plus, I was chasing this little munchkin around.
