Quinault Lodge & The Spruce Tree

We took part of a day to drive up to Lake Quinault. Grammy bought all the kids a gift from the gift shop then we walked around the Lake Quinault Resort.

We stopped for Sasquatch pictures.

And a few family pictures.

Before we left we went on a very short walk to see the World's Largest Spruce Tree.

It was BIG!

It was a beautiful day for an outing.

Bikes and the Beach

We brought the boys bikes to the beach. It was fun to watch them ride around.

Darby even wanted a turn on the bike.

Brad made a bike course for the kids to try out.  They loved it!

A few videos of the bike course attempts.

4th of July

We celebrated the 4th of July at the beach. Grammy & Fafa played some patriotic music and the kids did a 4th of July march to start the day.

The kids also got these fun hats from Grammy & Fafa.

It was a windy day and a little bit chilly but we still spent some time at the beach.

We got all bundled up for a fire and fireworks.

Family picture

Ollie and Colt were scared of the loud noises from the fireworks so I took them inside.  Grammy held Ollie until he fell asleep in her arms.  It was a late night for all of us.

To the beach

We spent the last week at Moclips on the Washington Coast.  We shared a house (the same as the one 2 years ago) with Fafa & Grammy and Uncle Brian, Aunt Angie, Abi & Andrew.   We had a blast!

Grammy got all the kids visors.  Darby trying hers on.
(yes, those are 2 bruises on her head.  She was sitting on a chair on the front porch, fell over and hit the railing.  This was the night before I took her to the doctor to get her fever checked out)

Darby loved the freedom of running as far as she wanted to.

Although it was a little windy the first day.

The universal fun at the beach.  Jumping in the waves.

Our half tent was very helpful on our few windy days.

These videos aren't very exciting.  Just Darby walking and the kids in the waves.
