Beach Time

We met up with Lori & Ryker and Yara and her boys at Newcastle Beach Park.  I have heard great things about this place but have never been.  It was a perfect day for a little beach action.  The only bummer was we left right about lunch time.  I didn't pack a lunch but we also had to get back home to get Brody.  Plus, Darby needed a nap.   

My favorite part was seeing my little girl in a swimsuit.  

So cute and something I have never had with boys.

Paragliding

Our friends went paragliding off Tiger Mountain. Since it was such a beautiful evening I decided it would be fun for us to watch them land. 

There were so many paragliders in the sky. 

 

Darby was fascinated by all the action and couldn't stop pointing and talking.

It ended up being much later than we thought so we ordered pizza for dinner.  It was a great night for a little adventure and another chance to hang out with our friends. 

And of course Ollie still can't stop talking about paragliding.  He either talks about how he wants to go or he tells us a story about when he went paragliding.

Darby continues to make us laugh and is providing more and more entertainment for us. Here she is racing in the kitchen.

She even pushes over her competition.  We just love this girl!

T & D Karate Party

Our family was invited to a Trey & Devin's birthday party at Karate West.   

The boys were a little hesitant at first but it didn't take them too long to join in on the fun.

Darby's Doughnut

We went on a family outing to Krispy Kreme. I don't think this is Darby's first doughnut but it seems like the first time since she has been walking. And for some reason that just makes her seem all grown up now.  Big enough to have a doughnut just like the big boys.  

It's getting harder to squeeze our family around a table. 

End of Year Preschool Picnic

Colt's classmate hosted the End of Year picnic for his preschool. The weather didn't cooperate too well so we spent a lot of time inside.  Even though they have a big house it was still very hectic with all those kids in there.

These two ladies make Joyful Heart the wonderful place that it is.  We are so thankful! 

 

Last Day of Preschool

Colt had his last day of preschool for the school year.   We are planning to send him back to Joyful Heart next year.   He will be the big man on campus. 

I forgot to take a picture on his last actual day of class but this was on the same day as his end of the year picnic. 

Of course Ollie wanted to be in the picture too.
