Front Porch Rocker

Whenever we are waiting for someone to come over, or there is big action in our neighborhood (the UPS truck, garbage trucks etc.) Ollie just wants to sit on the rocking chair. He wants his blanket so he can be nice and comfortable. And of course he is always ready with a smile.

More of 45

We had another birthday party for Brad. This time his good friends came over which included 5 other kids. It was a beautiful day and we spent most of the time playing outside. Our cul-de-sac was full of motorized vehicles and bicycles. And we enjoyed some yummy birthday cake too.

Getting ready to sing and eat birthday cake.

Watching a Lego video before everyone had to leave.

Decks & Scooters

Brad taught or encouraged Brody to jump off the step on the deck. I don't think I need to say much more, you know what I am thinking.

Post Hair Do

Darby's pigtails came out of her hair, but it was still sticking up.
Brad wanted to make sure I got a picture.

I do like Green Eggs and Ham

March 2nd was Dr. Seuss' birthday. It happened to fall on a Saturday this year. This put a little more pressure on me to do something. Ok, maybe not. But I decided to have a little fun with it. I made the boys green eggs and ham and also made Cat in the Hat pancakes. They absolutely devoured their breakfasts and asked for more green eggs.

We didn't do much else for the day, other than a typical Saturday of play.

Darby's Phone

I really don't talk on the phone that often. But clearly Darby has picked up on something (I think its from Brad). She definitely changes her tone and inflection when she is "talking" on her phone.

So serious.

Is this a small glimpse into my future?
Wait until she learns how to send text messages.

11 months

Darby's 11 month birthday almost passed me by without gettiner her monthly picture. These didn't turn out that great (bad lighting) but I'm just thankful I got it done. She now has 4 teeth. She is starting to try and stand on her own. I don't think she will be walking by her first birthday but I don't think it will be too long after that.

Her hair is getting long enough to cut if she was a boy.  So now we I am experimenting with things to do to her hair.   She doesn't always like it but it sure looks cute.

We just love this little munchkin!

Ollie wanted in on the picture taking.
