Birthday skiing

For my birthday we took the boys up to the mountain to go skiing. (My friend, Jen, watched Darby for us) Brad has been taking one boy at a time this winter, so it was great for me to see what they could do.  They will be better than me in no time. 

Colt is in the front. Brody is behind him and Brad is with Ollie in the very back. 

The boys went on the magic carpet for a little while.  My brother, who works at the pass, met us up there and was able to get me a pass.  He also offered to watch the boys so Brad and I could do some runs together.  It was great to ski again (even though I'm not very good).

 My camera battery died so I had my friend Ganesa take these pictures.  Ganesa has a condo up there and she also met us for my birthday celebration. 

After skiing we had pizza and french fries in the lodge.  (it ended up taking the pizza more than an hour--apparently a miscommunication in the kitchen.  The boys were so patient even though they were hungry and exhausted.)

(It's hard to see Jason behind his big mountain man beard.  The boys LOVE him.  Personally, I would be scared of him but clearly his personality far outweighs his big bushy beard)

I really had a wonderful birthday especially being able to do something so fun with my family.

35th Birthday

On Monday I celebrated my 35th birthday. I really don't feel much older than 21 (on most days).  Now with Facebook and kids my birthdays really are special.   When I was deciding what I wanted to do for my birthday there were a few requests I had. 

For breakfast I went and got cinnamon crunch bagels from Panera.  (Brad was going to go but I made it to the gym in the morning and was able to stop on my way home). 

Brad helped the boys decorate my door.  Ollie was so sweet and let us put two of his animals on the door.  (in case you are wondering Brad momentarily thought I was 34).

I forgot to get a picture but my friend Jamie stopped by with Krispy Kreme donuts, a balloon and some flowers.   I am loved and blessed by so many. 

Brody & Colt were in school.  Darby was taking a nap and Brad was home with her, so I took Ollie on a date to Starbucks.  Another one of my favorite places. 

After Colt & Brody were done with preschool we went to Baskin Robbins for ice cream.  Chocolate Chip Mint is my favorite.  Darby liked it too! 

Birthdays are the perfect reason to have lots of treats! 

Mickey Mouse Birthday Party

We went to Andrew's 3rd birthday party. It was a Mickey Mouse party. As usual, the kids had a lot of fun. I didn't take very many pictures but did get a few with their ears on. 

Cougar Mountain Hike

We decided to go on a family hike at Cougar Mountain. It was colder and a little more wet than I was expecting. But it was still nice to get outside.

Silly Fafa

A few weekends ago, Fafa & Grammy took all 3 boys for the weekend. (Did I already mention how grateful we are?) Apparently, they had a lot of fun. But I often wonder who had the most fun and who was the most wiped out after the weekend.

And they were all worn out on our trip home from the ferry. 

Valentine's Holders

Last week we went to the Home Depot workshop. The boys made Valentine's Holders. 

Somehow Ollie managed to fit himself in an orange bucket.
