1st Bottle

I gave Darby her first bottle and the boys were more than happy to help.   She did a great job drinking all of her milk, even though she did dribble a little.

Colt is such a proud big brother.

Big Brothers & Cousins

I realized I didn't have a picture with just my kids.  So I tried to take a few.

Gunner & Sayler wanted in on the picture too.

Lamb Day

Our friend, Jeannine, hosted another lamb day at her mom's house.  She outdid herself again and ordered up some great weather and had lots of yummy food for kids and adults.

The kids liked the lambs but enjoyed the mud puddles the best.

(of course just as everyone was going out I had to feed Darby).  My friend Lori was able to snap a few pictures for me.

These are the pictures I took.

Getting boots washed off.

Evidence that there were lambs and not just mud puddles.

Bike Ride to the Park

Brad got his bike down and decided to take Brody & Colt on a bike ride to the park.  The boys loved it and I know will be asking for more bike rides soon.

Celebrating 5!

Brody's actual birthday came exactly one week after Darby was born.  I'm so thankful we did most of the celebrating early.  Brody was a little confused and kept asking when people were going to come over with presents and to sing happy birthday.

Decorating his door (you will notice very similar decorations to Ollie's)

Pancakes and smokies for breakfast.

A trip to Krispy Kreme

Part of our village

Our "village" is full of many wonderful people.  Our first day home we immediately received a meal from our friends Chad, Dana, Natalie & Charlotte.

We also had a visit from Uncle Warren with another complete dinner and dessert.

My friend Jessica came by on Saturday with her daughter Emily.  They were so helpful in taking me to a follow up appointment for me and Darby.

My sister Jessi has been super helpful.  Here is Sayler checking out her younger cousin.

Uncle Brian, Aunt Angie, Abi & Andrew came by to see their new niece and also brought us a yummy dinner.

Lori, Annika & Ryker came by another day with lunch and dinner.

One of our "regular" babysitters, Ellie, stopped in for a visit to get some snuggle time with Darby.

We love our village and know we are better parents because of the love and support we continually receive.

Heading Home

The hospital has a little kiosk where you can get newborn pictures taken and of course you can order them if you want.  The pictures aren't that great so we never order them but we are able to get a proof sheet of four pictures.

Grammy bought this cute outfit for Darby to go home in.

Mom, Dad & Darby ready to head home.
(we are so thankful we were only their two days since we had no complications).

We came home on a Friday but didn't get the boys back from my parents until Saturday.  When they arrived home they were so excited to see Darby.

(Ollie had no nap that day and was very tired so he missed seeing Darby when he got home.  He just went straight to bed).

It's good to be home!
