Christmas Train

Fafa brought out his train for hte kids to watch.  (It has been a long time since it has been pulled out of the box. I don't know exactly how long but long enough to have to add grease to the wheels etc.)

The kids had a blast watching it.

I love this picture of Ollie & Fafa with Ollie's diaper sticking out of his pants.  It's adorable!

Fafa was able to get his steam pellets to work.  You can see the "smoke" in this picture.

There isn't much to these videos but I took them so I'm posting them.

1st Round of Presents

Last weekend we had our first Christmas celebration at Fafa & Grammy's.  As always, we had a great time.

The boys opened up this present early in the day to give them one present to play with before we opened the other presents after dinner.

Lego Advent Calendar - They LOVE this! Thanks Uncle Brian & Aunt Angie

There are a lot of videos with not much on them, but they are still cute!

Winter Deck Cleaning

It has been very cold but it has also been pretty dry.  Even though I dread bundling up and going outside I try to get the boys outside for some fresh air.   Brad was able to get outside for a little bit and started working on cleaning up the deck.  He had his helpers with him.  (Notice they have their bike helmets on.  They were riding their bikes before they were helping and we thought it gave them extra warmth on their heads).

Now our deck is clear of leaves.

Mohawk

Brad and Brody both needed haircuts so they went on a daddy/son date.   They came back with matching Mohawks.  I wanted to get their picture but Colt & Ollie wanted in it too.

We finally got one with just the two of them.

The Orange Coat

Ollie had fun trying on Brad's coat but had trouble walking around with it.  He looked like Yoda to me.

Superhero Photo Shoot

Lori bought the boys an ornament and put pictures of each of them in there (how wonderful is that? I still have ornaments without pictures because I was too lazy to put them in).

Brody's ornament had a little star on it and was told he had that ornament because Annika thinks he is a superstar.  So for him it didn't work for him to have his picture from Thanksgiving in it.

As soon as we got home he wanted to put his super cape on so he could be a superstar and then he wanted me to take a picture so he could put it in his superstar ornament.

This was his first pose.  He didn't like it.

So he did this instead.  He loved this one.

Now I need to print the picture and put it in his ornament.

The Aquarium

Let's see how fish celebrate Christmas

This was our Christmas activity for the day.

We joined Annika & Ryker at the Aquarium and the boys had a blast.  (I was so thankful for Lori and her mom because they were able to help me corral the kids and watch them while I had to clean up spilled milk, change a diaper, take someone to the bathroom etc.)

Lori took this adorable picture of Annika & Brody at the pond where they can touch the sealife.

Checking out the fish

This was one of Ollie's favorite things.

Since he is such a sweet little boy, Ollie wanted to give this sea otter statue a hug.

Ryker escaped before we got a picture of all of them.

A picture with all five of the kids.

We always have a great time with these friends and this time was no different.   We never really learned how fish celebrate Christmas.
