We had a rare weekend where we had nothing planned (except for an early morning run for me and church). It was nice to just let the day happen. It also allowed for Brad to create a game that he called CARTACULAR.
The boys spent a few hours getting every single car in the house and lining them up. In the process we even found Dinoco which was a car that had been lost for months. Once the cars were ready Brad had to figure out the rules of the game.
Here are the cars, lined up, coordinated by color. Pretty impressive!
On the other side of the rug the boys had set up their people. The cars were to be pushed to the other side in hopes of hitting someone. If the car crashed into another one it had to be put in the bin. It was also put in the bin if it ran off the rug.
Colt didn't have enough patience to play so he just watched and pushed cars a few times.
The people lined up at the other end.
Cartacular ended up taking a long time and Brody lost his patience so there was never a winner. Brad loved the game so much that he hopes to play it again soon.
I love watching Brody's reaction on these videos when his car runs off the rug. He was such a good sport about it.
