Ollie is 2 months

Ollie is 2 months! He seems to be well acquainted with his brothers kisses, pokes, and toys. Ollie is pretty mild mannered but does have healthy lungs when he gets upset about something.

He has been giving us lots of smiles and is starting to coo and laugh. Be sure to check out the video below.

Brody's Bruise

Brody was playing in the backyard at Papa Bob's house. He was riding in the jeep and got off and fell and hit his head on the porch. Aunt Jenny & Aunt Jessie were quick to comfort him. It looked as if it was going to give him two black eyes. It is actually healing up quite nicely and doesn't look nearly as bad.

Pinata and Parties

We went down to Portland to visit some friends and to help them celebrate their daughter's 3rd birthday. They are great hosts and have lots of toys for the kids to play with.

Sharing Books

We try to do some reading around our house. We have lots of books and currently have a big "pile" of books on our window seat. The other day Colt was sitting on the window seat and Brody was in our recliner chair. I was able to grab the camera and get a few pictures of them "reading" and sharing books.




There's not a whole lot of dialog in these videos. Colt is "reading" and Brody laughs. At the end Brody starts talking in his "brodese" language.



Colt hands Brody a book and Brody tells him it is too big. Brody then points to another one and says "that's my size".

Grandma Shari

My mom came up for part of the day to help me do some cleaning and more importantly to watch the boys while I got some household tasks done.

While she was here I cleaned the shower, mopped the kitchen floor and mowed the lawn. (Yes I did all of that...it's amazing what you can do when you have a limited amount of time and aren't sure when you will get a chance to do it again. Plus all 3 of those tasks were long overdue).

The boys spent a lot of time playing in the sandbox, so my mom helped by picking some weeds around the yard.

....off to get a haircut

Brody desperately needed a haircut so we went to Sport Clips again. Here is a little video of him talking about where we were going. (Please ignore the annoying mommy voice)
